In her studies, she also received the Head of School Award for Paediatrics and achieved Academic Excellence awards.

Naomie enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and has a special interest in paediatrics and

endodontics. She takes pride in providing high-quality dental care and ensuring her patients are comfortable during treatment.

When she’s not at work, Naomie enjoys spending time with her family in Toowoomba and the Gold Coast, as well as baking desserts and watching the ‘occasional’ reality TV show.

  • Dr Pramoda

    Dentist | Highfields

Dr Pramoda graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Dental Science and gained extensive experience working in government clinics in regional and metropolitan areas of Queensland, before relocating to Toowoomba in 2012 and joining Gentle Dental Highfields in 2021.

Dr Pramoda developed an interest in dentistry from a young age. After undergoing extensive dental treatment, including braces, she was inspired to learn more about the field and help others achieve their best dental health. Now, helping people smile confidently is Dr Pramoda’s favourite part of the job.

A commitment to ongoing education and gentle dentistry techniques means Dr Pramoda is both highly skilled and exceptionally caring. Her patients have peace of mind knowing that they will always receive thorough and compassionate care during their visits.

In her free time, Dr Pramoda enjoys reading, running, and traveling to destinations near the beach. She is also the proud owner of a Rottweiler named Luci and is passionate about animal welfare.

  • Dr Jason Cai

    Dentist | Highfields

Dr Cai graduated with distinction from Griffith University in 2021, where he completed a Bachelor of Oral Health and Master of Dentistry. He always knew he wanted to work in the health industry but started out studying Radiology for a year before finding his passion and switching to dentistry. Since then, Dr Cai has attended various career development courses, including courses in communication and endodontics (root canal therapy).

Dr Cai enjoys the hands-on aspect of the profession and being able to help people. He has a special interest in oral surgery and restorative work, but also enjoys (and is skilled in) all aspects of general dentistry.

On the weekends, Dr Cai likes to unwind with a good Netflix series or movie. He’s also a big fan of tennis and is on the hunt for a new favourite player since Roger Federer retired.

  • Dr Danny Xue

    Dentist | Highfields & Drayton

Dr Danny Xue earned his BDS and Master of Dentistry at Griffith University, graduated in 2022 with an award for academic excellence, and moved to Toowoomba to join the Gentle Dental team shortly after.

As part of his commitment to professional development, Danny is currently pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in Clear Aligner Therapy, and he holds a Graduate Diploma of Aesthetic Orthodontics (Sequential Aligners Therapy) from City of London Dental School/Bolton's University.

Positive experiences with his childhood dentist inspired Danny to pursue dentistry and offer the same calming experience to others. With his kind and caring demeanour, Danny easily connects with his patients to create a sense of safety and trust.

Having previously resided solely on the Gold Coast, Danny appreciates the slower pace of life in Toowoomba, and loves how friendly the people are here. With that said, he’s somewhat of an adventure-seeker. Danny has travelled to over 10 countries (Canada was his favourite) and he once swam with sharks in Hawaii—without a cage!!

  • Charlotte

    Dental Assistant | Drayton

Charlotte joined the Gentle Dental Drayton team in 2022 and completed her qualifications as a dental assistant in 2023.

Despite being relatively new to the field, Charlotte delivers a high standard of patient care, and has quickly become a highly valued member of our team.

Charlotte’s favourite thing about dentistry is seeing the long-term results of full mouth rehabs.

Outside of work, Charlotte enjoys reading and spending time with friends and family.
